Corporate Sponsorships
Huron Rowing Association is a 501(c)3 organization that maintains year-round rowing programs for Community and Huron High School. The team receives limited funds from the Ann Arbor Public Schools, and so we depend on donations to keep the team thriving! Your sponsorship allows us to provide our athletes with quality equipment for competitive racing, supports athletes with financial hardship, and continues to build our programs for the next generation of rowers.
This year, we’re especially focused on raising funds for some key goals:
● A new dock at Bandemer Park to improve safety and accessibility for our rowers and members of the Ann Arbor
community. Installation is scheduled for June 2025. We have just two more months to meet our team's
contribution requirement of $28k.
● Athlete scholarship funds to ensure every student has a chance to participate, regardless of financial
circumstances. Rowing is an expensive sport, but we are committed to equitable access for Ann Arbor students.
● Our fleet plans to maintain and upgrade our boats. We are so happy to see our athlete numbers increase post
pandemic, but Huron has struggled to finance expensive boat repairs and upgrades to our significantly aging fleet.
