HRA Registration Process

1. Obtain a Current Sports Physical – Dated after April 15th
-You can download a form on the HRA Website by clicking the "About Us" tab and selecting "Documents & Forms".
-Upon completion, save the document. You will need to upload and submit it via Student Central/Big Teams in Step 3.
-Athletes will not be allowed to practice without a current Sports Physical on file.

2. AAPS Pay to Participate - Ann Arbor Rec & Ed
-Visit the following link and review the instructions. https://www.a2schools.org/PTP
-Select “Huron P2P”.
-Pay the $265 AAPS Sports & Insurance Fee, as appropriate.
-You can check the status of your payment by reviewing your email receipt which would have come from [email protected].
-This $265 payment covers all sports for the Fall, Winter & Spring School Year.
-If you only paid the $15 club fee for the Fall Season, you will need to pay $250.
-If you have concerns regarding financial hardship, please follow the direction on their website.
-Upon completion, save the document as you will need to upload and submit it via Student Central/Big Teams in Step 3.

3. AAPS Student Central/Big Teams
-Visit the following link as well as review and follow the instructions provided for Student Central/Big Teams. https://www.a2schools.org/Page/12921
-Once all documents are uploaded and signed, you will receive a notification of “Approved” from the school. If you don’t receive an “Approved” notification, please review your Student Central/Big Teams account to determine what needs to be completed.

4. US Rowing Waiver
-Our insurance is provided by US rowing and a valid US Rowing Membership is required for each rower. Waivers must be completed by a parent or guardian for athletes under the age of 18 years old.
-Sign into US Rowing at https://membership.usrowing.org/individual/join
-Select “Basic Membership”.
-Once you have completed the Waiver, you will need to Renew or Join “Huron Rowing Association – Ann Arbor Huron H.S.” by selecting the green “Renew” or “Join Organization” button on the “Membership Profile” page. The HRA Club Access Code is SD7DK.

5. Swim Test Certification
-Obtain Swim Test Certification. You can download a form on the HRA Website by clicking the "About Us" tab and selecting "Documents & Forms".
-If you need assistance finding swim certification opportunities, please contact a member of the coaching staff.
-Once completed, upload and send the certification to [email protected] & [email protected]

6. Huron Rowing Registration & Assessment
-Once all of the above steps are completed, you can continue to move forward with the registration process here on the Huron Rowing website as well as Pay the HRA Assessment. *Note, when you click register, you will need to create a Sports Connect account if you do not already have one.

-Additionally, all are required to read the HRA Code of Conduct & HRA Financial Commitment Policy. These forms can be found on the HRA Website by clicking the "About Us" tab and selecting "Documents & Forms".

*By moving forward and completing registration process on the Huron Rowing website, you are indicating that both the athlete and parents/guardians agree to the terms and conditions of all the above Requirements, Commitments and Policies.
